Abstract :
In this paper, we present the design and the modelling of multi-tier Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) for home application. The proposed solution aims to save energy in a heterogeneous wireless sensor environment. The purpose of this work is to assign intelligent behaviour to each sensor node according to its role in the network in order to increase its lifetime and the global network longevity. Simulation results show a better use of components and energy resources of each node in the network.
