Abstract
The paper investigates SH surface acoustic wave propagating in layered functionally graded piezomagnetic/piezoelectric structures loaded with viscous liquid. The coupling wave equations are obtained based on linearly the three-dimensional piezoelectric theory. The governing equations are solved by means of analytical method with consideration of electrically open and electrically shorted cases. The transfer matrix method is used to study the effect of the gradient factor about material constants on the dispersive relations and phase velocity of SH-SAW waves. The results can provide theoretical foundation for the design of surface acoustic wave device.
