Abstract :
In this research report, the authors have a close view on this process. The authors treat the dc-biased carbon nanotube as an RF antenna and the pulsed laser beam as the plane wave. Based on traditional microwave antenna theory and nonlinear optics, the authors are going to describe the electric field distribution around the vertically-standing single-walled carbon nanotube irradiated by pulsed ultrafast laser beam.
