  • Abstract
A key point in the operation of the leaching process is to ensure the safe running of the process. The paper proposes an expert fault diagnosis strategy for the leaching process, which is based on rule models with certainty factors. A diagnosis procedure is first presented. Then, the rule models are constructed based on empirical knowledge, empirical data and statistical results on past fault countermeasures, and an expert reasoning method is used which employs the rule models and forward chaining. A real-word application is expounded finally
