Abstract :
Data mining is a new hot research subject in the database field. However, in general, data mining acquires knowledge from large quantities of data. In this paper, we discuss a new knowledge discovery from database algorithm based on genetic algorithm, called GAKDK (genetic algorithm based knowledge discovery from knowledge). This algorithm is based on the crossover and mutation between knowledge trees. It can retrieve undiscovered knowledge from raw rules
