Abstract :
PDM-QPSK combined with coherent detection is seen as a promising modulation scheme for high bit-rate transmission (40 Gb/s and above). The impact of polarization-division multiplexing on the tolerance to nonlinearities is investigated here with 10 Gbaud signals.
