Abstract :
A new 3D symmetric inductor structure is presented. It is shown that inductors driven with differential rather than single-ended signals give better performance. The proposed inductor is advantageous due to its inherent geometrical symmetry, and it retains Q and fsr values that are comparable to its unsymmetrical 3D counterpart.
