Abstract
The principle of the aerosol deposition (AD) method is based on shock loading solidification due to the impact of ultrafine particles which are accelerated by carrier gas. The AD method achieved a high deposition rate and high relative film density. However, in order to obtain high permeability, heat treatments at temperatures above 1000°C are needed. Aiming to further increase the permeability without heat treatment, composite films using Fe and Ni-Zn ferrite powders are prepared by the AD method and their magnetic properties, such as its saturation magnetization, coercivity and relative permeability are investigated.
