  • Abstract
The presence of ferromagnetic inductances in series LCR circuits can give rise, under sinusoidal supply, to strong variation in the response when the system is disturbed. The consequent effects are known as ferroresonance and they have been investigated with the main aim of finding and discussing the conditions giving rise to this phenomenon. The present work is focused on the analysis of hysteretic inductances, investigating in particular the influence of the considered hysteresis model (classical and dynamic Preisach models) and of its parameters (dynamic constant, initial magnetization state, mean field effect, etc.). The analysis is extended to investigate the influence of some parameters, as the dynamic constant kd, the mean field effect, and the initial magnetization state of the material.
