Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a scheme of waveforms for cognitive ultra-wideband radio transmission, based on Gaussian pulses, where the influences of performance parameters of Gaussian base pulse including the differential orders and shaping factors on the transmission waveform spectrum are discussed, and then a scheme of generating combinative waveforms based on Gaussian derivative function pulses is put forward. Simulation Results demonstrate that the spectrum of the combinative waveforms can not only meet the spectral requirements for FCC emission mask but also be of higher spectrum efficiency.
