Abstract
in this paper, a new uplink channel-aware scheduling algorithm is proposed to improve the cell throughput and cell-edge user throughput for 3GPP Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A) in case of equal power allocation among subcarriers. The target is to maximize the priority-sum under the constraint of limited power of User Equipment (UE). For the purpose, the algorithm to determine the reallocated RBs set and UEs, and the optimization procedures of reallocated RBs are proposed, from which, we design a new resource allocation algorithm. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme enhances the cell throughput and cell-edge user throughput by 11% and 20% respectively.
