Abstract :
The article describes a new approach to building models of the dynamics of the process of cutting. The proposed approach has allowed to get away from regenerative models with time delay, and, therefore, on an infinite-dimensional phase space. The proposed model of the dynamics of metal cutting process takes into account the variety of machining vibrations and eliminates the gross simplifications used in some traditional models.
