  • Abstract
    A 1D-magneto-photonic crystal (MPC) consisting tantalum oxide (Ta2O5), silicon oxide (SiO2), and bismuth-substituted yttrium iron garnet (Bi:YIG) was fabricated, and their nonlinear magneto-optical Kerr effects (NOMOKE) was investigated. The spectra of magnetic contrast and magnetization-induced second harmonic generation intensity was presented.
