  • Abstract
Today, remote measurement techniques and the application of intelligent in measurement represent a particularly alluring topic. Mature technologies are able to fully control instruments and help in remote measurement processes. But relative to the progress of net technology, remote measurement is still at a low ability level, such as automatic reason of information, measurement resources cooperate, measurement according to need in complex condition. Semantic Web service technology is capable of providing interesting solutions to the aforementioned problems, and based on antenna test, an investigation concerning the possibility to migrate this technology to the remote measurement world is advisable. This paper reports some preliminary considerations and an example of applications of the semantic Web service in remote antenna measurements.
