Abstract
In the view of the large scale and increasing kinds of service of space information networks, a service- oriented topology control algorithm is proposed. According to demands of existing service, the topology of network is divided into several logical sub-topologies, on which construct the corresponding topology. Taking the communication pattern as an example, the augmentation-based approach is adopted to construct topologies which can meet the requirements of one-to-many communication. The augmentation-based approach calculates the weight of links, according to the requirements of service on bandwidth, delay, delay jitter and reliability. After that, the augmentation-based approach use the free links as most as possible, establish a nearest neighbor graph that meets the requirement of fault tolerance, then augment to be the ultimate topology. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can remove redundant links effectively, improve the effectiveness of data transmission and also ensure the fault tolerance of the network, can adapt to the multiple application requirement of space information networks.
