Software development of marine geomagnetic data processing

Geomagnetism reflects the material distribution of interior earth, and is used in many fields. In order to get actual geomagnetic change in marine by magnetometer observation, we study deeply the key techniques in geomagnetic data processing in this paper. Based on the theories, we develop the software for the marine geomagnetic data processing. The frameworks, running environments and application range of the software are also discussed in detail in this paper. Finally, by means of an experiment in Bohai Bay, China, we test the software system in the accuracies, credibility and stability of these algorithms used in the software. The experimental result shows that the accuracy and performance of the software are high, and can satisfy the requirement of actual applications.
