Abstract :
Summary form only given. We report the tunable single longitudinal mode (SLM) operation of a pulsed Ti:sapphire laser based on a simple, dual cavity, Littman-type stable resonator geometry, which routinely generates SLM output pulses with several-nanosecond durations and energies up to 10 mJ.
