  • Abstract
    In a wireless network fault identification and diagnosis are great challenging issue today. But similar to that power consumption is also playing an important role. In order to avoid power consumption we proposed an energy efficient routing algorithm in a mesh topology with sleep based in addition to hierarchical network. It is based on a replacement diagnosis i.e. node replacement in accordance with the sleep wake up energy consumption technique in a mesh topology. A mesh topology can be fully connected or the communication is done only with in the neighbor nodes. It will check how much replacement is done for each node. In brief it will give a comparative study of node replacement without sleep mode and node replacement with sleep mode in addition to hierarchical network having 8 node with activating sleep to except 2,4,8 nodes . As node 2, 4, 8 are the cluster heads and they can not be goes to sleep. Here the sleep time is 3. The maximum diagnosis time is chosen randomly as 13seconds.Node replacement without sleep is 11 and node replacement with sleep is 6.Our proposed algorithm gives an efficient replacement than ordinary network.
