Abstract :
In this paper an attempt has been made to investigate the best possible location of UPFC with an objective of stability enhancement in a multi machine power system. The performance analysis of UPFC has been carried out for enhancement of small signal stability, voltage stability and transient stability using power system analysis tool box (PSAT) software.
