Abstract :
Advances in the wireless communication in the last few decades has incited the need to miniaturized and efficient antennas with larger BW and gain. This paper is focused on design and implementation of equilateral triangular planer antenna array for Wireless application at 5.8 GHz ISM band. In this paper bandwidth enhancement using slits and gain enhancement using an array technique is proposed. The proposed antenna array employs the concept of mutual coupling and is using CADFEKO software using FR4 as the dielectric substrate. The designed covers the 5.8GHz band for wireless communication with the bandwidth from 5.3GHz to 6.25 GHz. The designed antenna is fabricated by using FR4 substrate and is tested using a VNA.
