  • Abstract
    By introducing fractal parameters, an equivalent surface impedance boundary condition (ESIBC) for two-dimensional fractal-regular rough surfaces is derived. The compact 2-D finite-difference frequency-domain method (2-D CFDFD) with ESIBC to calculate the attenuation of a lossy rectangular waveguide containing fractal Inner Surfaces based on Weierstrass-Mandelbrot (M-W) function is employed, and the advantages of 2-D CFDFD are reserved. The effects of fractal parameters on attenuation constant are presented and the results are discussed in detail.
