  • Abstract
    Since Hachtel´s augmented matrix method is commonly used in power systems, the authors´ presented algorithm of determining observable islands for the gain matrix is extended to Hachtel´s augmented matrix. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the details of the proposed algorithms. The simplicity and efficiency of the proposed algorithm make its on-line application possible for current power networks.
