  • Abstract
    Summary form only given. In summary, we have proposed and demonstrated a lensless, high-resolution ROM architecture based on the phase conjugate holograms (PCH). The novel PCH technique can be used in both wavelength- and angle-multiplexing. Compared with conventional holographic systems for high-density data storage applications, the PCH greatly reduces the systems size, simplifies the architecture, increases the image resolution, reduces the bit error rate, making it a more attractive approach for Tbit/s capacity and Gbits/second transfer-rate optical memories.
