Abstract :
The authors applied differential geometric nonlinear system control theory to design the nonlinear hybrid control strategy for hydro turbine generator unit. The non-elastic water hammer effect and disturbances are considered in the modeling. In fact, the proposed control strategy is a class of state feedback linearization control law with time-varying transferred coefficients of hydraulic turbine. The feedback variables used by the proposed control law are local measurements and independent to the network parameters. The digital simulation results indicate that the proposed control strategy can improve the dynamic performance and strengthen the robustness and anti-disturbance ability of hydraulic turbine regulating system on isolated network operating condition.
