  • Abstract
Summary form only given. Interferometers are switched automatically, and image data taken by a CCD camera with a preset interval are processed by a frame memory to generate fringe patterns before being saved in the computer´s main memory. The interval of data acquisition can be as small as 0.5 sec. Typically more than 200 image data are taken. We have applied the present system to tensile experiment on an aluminum sample and successfully predicted the location of fracture.
