  • Abstract
Summary form only given. A model of adiabatic plume expansion confirming theoretical predictions has been obtained for the first time, to our knowledge, based on direct measurements of time-resolved plasma temperatures. An extension of these measurements to the expansion of the plume in a novel dual-laser ablation technique is currently under investigation and is also presented.
