  • Abstract
Summary form only given. A cw tunable infrared spectrometer based on the difference-frequency generation (DFG) in a nonlinear crystal AgGaS/sub 2/ (l=25 mm, noncritical type I phase matching) was constructed. The system was designed for the wavenumber region around 1900-2100 cm/sup -1/. In this spectral region the molecular gases like, CO, N/sub 2/O, and NO, have pronounced absorption lines excluding interferences from the major atmospheric gases.
