  • Abstract
Summary form only given. In this paper, we present an experimental implementation of a holographic resonator using laser-pumped Ti:sapphire as the gain material and discuss the characteristics of the resulting laser radiation. The loop contains two Brewster-angled rods of Ti:sapphire, which are end-pumped from both sides with 10-ns Q-switched pulses at a repetition rate of between 1 and 10 Hz from a frequency-doubled (532 nm) Nd:YAG laser system.
