Abstract
Summary form only given. We present a novel monolithic single-mirror resonant photodetector design with a narrow detection bandwidth of 10 nm, increased responsivity and high transmission at long wavelengths. This wavelength-selective detector uses resonant QW absorption and an impedance-matched DBR to achieve higher wavelength selectivity, peak responsivity, and lower cross talk than conventional bulk or multi QW photodetectors.
