Abstract
The real interpolation method (RIM) of the low-order robust controllers design is proposed. It is based on the use of the linear real transformation. The RIM based controller parametric design includes the use of interpolation conditions to approximate the designed system transfer function to the reference system. The method allows one to design optimal systems for fast transient response and robustness. The robustness is estimated by system´s overshoot. The proposed method allows one to increase the robustness due to the decrease in systems´ response speed. The advantages of the proposed method include: 1) the design is performed on the basis of quality direct indices; and 2) it includes the transfer functions with irrational and transcendental parts. In this paper the numerical example of the given order controller design is demonstrated
