Abstract
A feedback control circuit is demonstrated for a widely tunable SSG-DBR laser. It monitors active section voltage to maintain mode stability, and uses a Fabry-Perot etalon as reference to lock the laser frequency to a specific ITU channel with better than 1.0 GHz accuracy.
