Complexity and performance comparisons between optical OOK-CDMA chip-level receivers and double-optical-hardlimiters correlation receivers

Abstract :
We show that chip-level receivers (recently proposed) are much simpler and more practical than traditional double-optical-hardlimiters correlation receivers in demultiplexing optical CDMA signals. Further, we show that the bit error rates of both receivers are competitive to each other.
