  • Abstract
The activities of aggregation and application of community tourism information contents by using Linked Open Data in Hakodate are shown. The aggregated contents are provided for tourists by a smartphone application named “Hakodate Map+”. The core services of the app are sightseeing navigation by using the walking route of “Hakodate Machiaruki Maps” and provision of tourist spots information around the route from Hakodate official travel guide “Hakobura” Web site. As additional tourism information LOD to be linked to the tourist spots, filming locations of the movies from “Hakodate Film Commission” Web site, and the industrial heritages from “Hakodate Industrial Heritages Portal Site”. The approach of this practice can be effective in two points: The first is functional complements to the existing tourism information services, and the second is revitalization of the existing tourism information contents.
