  • Abstract
    The combination of the material and the immaterial incentive is an important approach to encourage the core technical personnel in the hospital. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of core technical personnel in the hospital, the incentive model for the core technical personnel is built by combining the material and the immaterial incentive modes. And the effects of the cost coefficient of the immaterial incentive on the division coefficient, on the extent of the capability of the core technical personnel in the hospital are discussed. The results show that: 1) when the optimal effort extent is guaranteed, the immaterial incentive is substitutive to the material incentive, and the marginal substitutive rate increases by degrees, 2) only when the capability of the core technical personnel meets a certain condition does the immaterial incentive make positive effect on the core technical personnel in the hospital. And further, the phenomenon of "limbo" of technical personnel in the hospital is explained.
