Inventory management in reverse logistics: a survey

Reverse logistics has received various countries´ universal attentions facing short of the global resources; while inventory management is playing a key role in setting up efficient closed loop supply chains. An introduction has been carried out on the key technique of development method and the state-of-the-art including hybrid manufacturing/remanufacturing system´s framework, inventory model and algorithm, particularly inventory strategy and effects of lead time in reverse logistics. Some perspective viewpoints are pointed out in the last section of the paper.
