  • Abstract
Systematic analysis and study are very important in EMC approach in solving EMI problems in a complex airborne vehicle. Systems have to be hardened against EMI and must be checked for adequacy of design. Some of the ways to solve the EMI problems are (i) suppressing EMI at source; (ii) finding out the coupling paths and its elimination; (iii) proper routing of the cables and finally (iv) EMI evaluation without errors. In this technical paper, the authors highlighted the EMC approach and EMI Hardening Techniques adopted in solving the conducted as well as radiated emission problems of some of the most critical and sensitive electronic sub-systems.
