  • Abstract
    According to the deficiency of the traditional detecting method, this paper develops a set of intelligent automatically detecting system for the internal bore surface quality, which combined the image processing technology and pattern recognizing technology. The radius of image is detected using least-squares fitting circle theory and circular degree is obtained through calculating circular surface fluctuations rate, and then the discriminant function tests to determine whether the work is qualified. The system has been successfully used in the detections for many mechanical parts´ internal bore surface and approved to have a great practical value.
