Abstract
A simple and convenient shock resistance criterion for different elastic objects is proposed. The criterion is based on maximum reaction spectrum of a linear system (shock spectrum). The method is developed to convert an admissible maximum strength to an admissible spectrum values for each fundamental frequency of an elastic object oscillation. It is shown that behavior of admissible spectrum curves is the same for all events
