Abstract :
The mobile ad hoc network faces the problem of mobility and security in the network due to the multi-hop scenario and dynamic topology changes over a wireless medium. The cluster based technique is used to overcome some of these problems. The proposed protocol using Fuzzy logic for clusterhead selection under Competence level, Goodness Function and Mobility of mobile ad hoc network is used to improve the network performance. MANET is divided into clusters to perform authentication and routing over a network to reduce the congestion over the network. The clusterhead formed by this logic is fully secured and trusted cluster/ clusterhead with less overhead over the network.
