  • Abstract
    Ad hoc network has become one of the most interesting topic to work on, for the researchers. Applying MIMO communication on ad hoc networks has improved the packet transmission rate as well capabilities. Transmission strategy mainly depends on many factors such as packet transmission rate, transmission time etc. Mobile ad hoc nodes are operated by limited battery power. So energy efficiency is an important factor when we consider transmission strategy of ad hoc nodes. In this paper, a new broadcasting algorithm is proposed to enhance network´s packet transmission rate by considering the energy metric parameter of mobile ad hoc nodes. The main goal of this work is to enhance the information efficiency of the network as well as the packet transmission rate. Ant weight lifting algorithm has been extensively used in order to fulfill the objective.
