Abstract :
We propose an optical/electrical two-step heterodyne technique for low cost Gbps-class 60 GHz radio-on-fiber (ROF) downlink access. Highly stable IF signal is achieved without expensive 60 GHz-oscillators in either base stations or wireless terminals.
