Abstract
The leaky wave phenomena of a corrugated ferrite slab is analyzed using the perturbation method with multiple scales. The corrugated ferrite slab waveguide may be used for the application of a scannable leaky wave antenna in the millimeter wave frequency. A shift of 3/spl deg/ was observed in the main beam of the radiation pattern when the orientation of the DC bias field is changed from 0/spl deg/ to 30/spl deg/.
