Abstract :
In this study, we present an analysis on the typical 2T1C pixel circuit for active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) displays based on an analytical on-current model for polycrystalline Si (poly-Si) thin film transistors (TFTs). We focus on the charging time for the storage capacitor and driving current for the OLED. The voltage variation caused by the charge injection and clock feedthrough effects is estimated. The analysis based on the analytical poly-Si models is more accurate than the conventional one based on the MOSFET model, and more explicit and flexible than by using a circuit simulator.
