Abstract
Due to many advantages, the emerging millimeter-wave communication technology is promising in scenes like library and meeting room. The international millimeter wave standard has been completed recently while China is making its own millimeter wave standard. As the devices which work at millimeter wave frequencies can operate at overlap bandwidths, it faces the difficulties of fairness and net congestion in its media access control layer (MAC). This paper proposes a method based on virtual competition MAC resource allocation scheme. Simulation results prove that the proposed scheme could improve the compatibility of international standard and solve the congestion problem and the fairness of resource allocation with coexisted multi-mode devices.
