Abstract :
This paper aims to explore the impact of lecture capture technology on lecturers and teaching at an Australian university. The data was collected from lecturers in engineering, management, and nursing disciplines. Results of the survey and interviews indicated conformity with previous studies on the importance of teachers´ value beliefs in their effort to integrate educational technology in teaching. Concerns about the use of the technology were raised which require further investigation. Our findings suggest that the integration of education technology in teaching is not a technical issue. It requires a fundamental change of lecturers´ value beliefs towards educational technology.
