Abstract
ESD-guns are calibrated using a special designed Pelegrini target. The EMC-standard prescribes the most important properties of the ESD-current injected at the contact surface. Until now the current at the surface could not be determined accurately. By using a tapered line and advanced modelling techniques this was accomplished. The uncertainty on the ESD-pulse parameters was calculated by using an improved method
