Abstract
Energy conservation is a key concern in computing systems because it can bring several benefits such as reducing operating costs, increasing system reliability. To provide cloud services, more and more large-scale data centers containing thousands of computing nodes are built, which results in consuming terrific amount of energy with huge cost. Existing Energy-Aware Scheduling Algorithms developed for energy reductions in multiple VM system are competent but lacking the ability of guaranteeing system schedulability. Thus an efficient task scheduling algorithm required for tasks which will be also energy efficient, energy utilization of hosts on which multiple VMs are running can be reduced by scheduling task allotment to VMs, while taking care of deadline, execution time of each task and VMs availability.
