Abstract
A modern large university is not capable of functioning and developing effectively without a modern and technically perfect computer network that provides scientific workers, teachers, students and management personnel with a reliable and multifunctional network service, and that gives an access to the Internet and other domestic and foreign networks. For the successful realization of a corporate network construction and development under conditions of financial deficiency, it is necessary to consider the problem of organizing and developing a corporate network within the framework of a high-priority all-university development programme, incorporating the intellectual and material resources of all university departments
