Abstract :
In this work a first-principles based model for the prediction of the Syngas composition produced in a gasification plant is described. The model design is based on chemical-physical principles of the gasification process and is based on nonlinear static equations. For the formulation of the equations, Gibbs energy minimization of the compound used in the gasification process is taken into account together with computations of material balance.
