Abstract
This paper presents a new scheme of hybrid concatenated TCM (HCTCM) encoder and the iterative decoder for application to a wideband DS-CDMA system. Simulation results show that HCTCM can achieve better BER performance than turbo code /QPSK with the similar complexity. The influence of the constituent codes and decoding complexity on the BER performance is also investigated
